The town’s bulk population is in Naulu/Nakasi ward as this can be clearly noted on chart 3 apart from Nausori Peri-Urban. During the 1996-2007 intercensal periods, the Central Division is the only division whose population has increased at a rate higher than the national average of 0.7% per year. This clearly indicates that Nausori is undergoing a rapid population growth.
