Dengue Outbreak

🦟 Dengue Outbreak Alert: Let’s Act Together!
Our community is currently facing a dengue outbreak, and it’s more important than ever that we come together to take preventive action. Dengue fever is a serious illness spread by the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which thrives in areas with stagnant water. To protect ourselves, our families, and our neighbors, we must act quickly and decisively.
What is Dengue Fever?
Dengue fever is a viral infection that causes high fever, severe headaches, joint and muscle pain, skin rashes, and fatigue. In some cases, it can lead to serious complications. The disease is spread through the bite of infected mosquitoes, particularly those that breed in standing water found in containers, drains, and trash.
🚨 Community Clean-Up Day
To combat the spread of dengue, we are organizing a Community Clean-Up Day aimed at eliminating mosquito breeding grounds. We invite everyone in the community to join us in this critical initiative.
We’ll be focusing on:
Clearing stagnant water from open containers
Cleaning drains and gutters
Disposing of trash and debris
Educating the community on dengue prevention
How You Can Help
✅ Regularly check your home for standing water
✅ Keep water containers covered
✅ Use mosquito repellent and wear long sleeves
✅ Encourage your neighbors to do the same
Together, we can prevent further spread of dengue and keep our community safe and healthy.
Join us. Take action. Stay protected.
