The Nausori Municipal Market caters to vendors three (3) province (Tailevu, Naitasiri & Rewa), farmers and wholesalers from all regions of Vitilevu. The market has an exotic blend of fresh local and imported fruits, vegetables, spices and root crops, handicrafts and sweet sellers, selling fresh seafood and kai. The market also houses a Fishermen’s market where a wide variety of fish can be found.

The Market is a “One Stop Shop” near the Supermarket, Bus Station, Taxi Stand,  Wheel Borrow Boys are there to assist customers and Parking space at the Market. Can move freely as the Police Post is within the Market Space and the Market has CCTV.

The Nausori Municipal Market is governed by the Local Government Act 1976 and Nausori Market By-Laws.

Vegetables – English Cabbage, Moca, Eggplant, Bele, Rourou, Ota, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Bora, Chilies, Oraka , Mint, Carrot, Capsicum, Cauliflower Root crop – Dalo, Cassava, Kumala, Vudi Dry Goods – Garlic, Onions, Potatoes, Dry fish, Spies (all kinds) Eggs Fruits – Apple, Water melon, Banana- Oranges and Pineapples Seasonal fruits – Mangoes, Guavas, Mandarins Handicraft – Mat, Tabua, Wood Carving, Magimagi, etc Cooked Food – Varieties of Seafood and Vegetables (No meat) Sea Food – Variety of fish, Crab, lobster and Kai Yaqona and Tobacco.   1. Casual Vendors (Farmers)
Casual vendors are important because of their potential to empower our people economically. Most of these casual vendors/farmers come to sell the crops they grow from all over the surrounding region. They come to sell on Wednesday afternoon to Saturday at the Nausori Market. Eighty percent of these casual vendors/farmers are women and we have Accommodation Centre to accommodate them.
